How long has the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma been around?
The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma has a celebrated history of over a century! Established in 1908 as a women’s college, Science & Arts was only one of seven such public institutions created in the United States. The university became coeducation in 1965. Science & Arts continues today as Oklahoma’s only public liberal arts university.

What are the computer requirements for online students?
Our online platform is compatible with Mac or PC operating systems and a computer is necessary for online coursework. If you are unsure if your system meets the necessary software requirements, ask your admissions counselor. To take part in classes, you should have regular access to the Internet and email. You should also be familiar with creating, formatting and attaching Microsoft Word documents.
